The programming reflects the SUBWAY® brand and enhances your customers’ experience – all without unwieldy equipment or undesirable audio content. What makes SUBWAY® Radio different?Unlike other in-store music sources, the SUBWAY® Radio uses a streaming media player to deliver your choice of several music channels in real time. For up-to-the-minute, high-quality, static-free sound. No commercials, no DJs, no interruptions. Songs by major label artists are added daily to keep the SUBWAY experience fresh, and brand-focused messages/ads can be frequently changed or updated. You get consistent BRANDING! …over CDs or iPod • It is illegal to play copyrighted CDs or iPod music in your store • CD or iPod sound quality and volume can vary from song to song • CDs require handling, storage and the songs can become repetitious • SUBWAY ® Radio guarantees that all music and messages/ads are appropriate and chosen specifically to support your brand …over satellite radio • Unlike satellite radio, SUBWAY ® Radio doesn’t require an external antenna, which can be difficult to install and must face in a specific direction • Our media player receives continuous data from a broadband connection, providing great, static-free sound regardless of location, obstructions or weather conditions • Because satellite radio isn’t customizable, it’s littered with DJ chatter, promos and other distractions that aren’t focused on your brand …over local broadcast radio • You will NEVER be hit with a huge per-store fine for playing copyrighted music • SUBWAY ® Radio can be customized to work for your brand without commercials, rambling DJs, inappropriate content or other distractions Are all my music licensing fees covered?Yes, unless your store uses music sources other than SUBWAY® Radio (CDs, DJs, live music or broadcast radio). Then you are responsible for direct payment of copyright fees to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and for any sound recordings. Is the Internet a reliable music provider?Absolutely. It’s a very dependable and efficient way to get high quality music. If, however, your connection goes down for an extended period or your POS or credit card processing systems slow dramatically, check your internal connections. Is it possible for me to install the media player on my own?Sure, all you need is a sound system and connection point to your router. But, just in case, you can always access support information. How much bandwidth does the media player need?It streams at 64 KB. Recommend minimum bandwidth is 1.5 MB for unlimited service. How long is the warranty for the media player?Twenty-four months. See Warranty Terms & Conditions for specifics. What is the length of your agreement?One year. How and when do I pay for service?If you are purchasing the service for the first time you will pay for the player and the service for one year. If you are adding SUBWAY® Radio to your SUBWAY® TV you will pay $180 for one year of service on the day you sign up for the service. You can pay securely online by credit card or ACH for 12 months of service. On the anniversary of your service you will be automatically billed annually (once a year). As a franchise owner, how do I find out about custom service for all my stores?Simply provide the information on your sales inquiry form and we’ll get in touch. Can I cancel for any reason?You can cancel within the first 30 days of signing up for the service.
